Mona Lisa
Tromsø is often referred to as the Paris of the North but it is still missing its own Eiffel Tower or Mona Lisa.
In case something like this would be done in Tromsø, it would have to be done in such a way that it suits our city.
And the key word here is ‘Arctic’
With Arctic Mascot Gallery in place, the artistic work is already off to a good start.
For centuries, art experts the world over have discussed and studied the infamous Mona Lisa and her smile, or lack of smile. Today, that painting has its home in the Louvre museum in Paris as we know.
If someone were to paint dear Mona Lisa on one of the Arctic Mascot figures, there would be no doubt; she is smiling from ear to ear. This would solve the whole mystery surrounding her in an instant.
Would you be up for the task?
Arctic Trolls
Everyone who has heard of Southern Norway, has heard about the mythological trolls living there in the deep misty forests.
The trolls in the rest of Norway has not been equally interesting for people to talk about and much less paint or draw.
With the Arctic Mascot figure as canvas, perhaps a Northern Norwegian troll would appear?
All you need to do is pick up the paint brush and start to imagine the
Arctic Trolls.
Pop-up Face
It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul.
But windows or not, the rest of the face is equally interesting; with close to fifty face muscles working hard to communicate your thoughts, feelings and moods throughout the day.
Arctic Mascot gives you a creative opportunity to make both natural and fantastical expressions –
Pop-up Face.
